In 2009, NSORRA opened or refurbished three trails specifically for off road motorcycle use. The Trails are open to NSORRA members seasonally. Please observe the rules posted at each location, and enjoy!
Craigmore Creek ORM Park
Directions from HRM to the Craigmore Creek ORM Park:
Proceed west from Halifax on Hwy 102
take exit 15E toward PEI Ferry/New Glasgow/Cape Breton on 104 East
Proceed to the roundabout just over the Canso Causeway on Cape Breton Island.
Enter roundabout and take 1st exit on left to Provincial Route 19
After about 14 km, begin watching for signs
Park is on your right, just past a grey barn with a green roof.

Hiltz Road Trail
Directions to the Hiltz Road Trail:
Proceed west from Halifax on Hwy 101
take exit 13
turn right on hwy 12
go to stop sign in Kentville
turn left on Hwy 1
turn right at Cornwallis Inn onto rte 359
stay straight on Rte 359 to the top of the mountain ( approx 10km)
take the first paved left at top of mountain toward west Hall's Harbour. This is the Hiltz Rd.
stay straight on Hiltz rd
2 km after the end of the pavement the parking lot is on the right.
turn right into the parking lot, unload your bike and enjoy!

South Alton
The South Alton trail is also the site of Atlantic Hare Scrambles so be sure to check the race schedule before you head to the trail to ensure access.
The directions to the South Alton Location are as follows:
Take the 101 to Kentville.
Take Exit 13 (to highway 12 should be going south in the direction of New Ross)
The Trail is on the left approximately 6.3kms from taking the exit
If you pass a scrap yard you have gone too far.
