The Ten Commandments of Off Road Riding

  1. Ride a machine that is appropriate for you size and skill. Follow the manufactures age restrictions.
  2. Wear protective devices, especially a helmet, and clothing. Never ride double on a machine designed for one rider.
  3. Do not drink alcohol or use drugs while riding.
  4. Always practice care for the environment.
  5. Know the machine before operating.
  6. Complete a rider safety course.
  7. Always directly supervise younger riders.
  8. Always be courteous to others.
  9. Ask permission before riding on another’s land.
  10. Obey the laws and rules of the trail.

Responsible Off Road Riders have rights, but also responsibilities.
